Fall Luxe Box by Loose Button (Picture Heavy!!)

Good Afternoon!

I am very pleased and excited to show you all the new and re-vamped Luxe Box!

I'm going to start off by being truthful with you, I was recently given a spot to join TopBox and receive my first box in October.  When I found out Loose Button was only going to be putting out 4 boxes a year (seasonal) instead of 12 (monthly), I hadn't been that impressed with them.

In fact, I hadn't been that impressed for a few months prior to the announcement.  It seemed like their boxes were going downhill.  I decided to stay for one box and then decide if I wanted to jump ship to topbox. 

I have been a loyal customer since June 2011 so I figured I should give them the benefit of the doubt.    

New and Exciting Things

Hi ladies,

Now I don't know if any of you have noticed but I have been playing around with a blog button for about 3 days now. 

I got 3 different codes from 3 different tutorials, and nothing seemed to work out for me!  So I changed where the image was located and still nothing!  Then I changed the size, and still nothing!

I finally found one that worked properly and this is what I came up with:

Ok ladies,

there are a few reasons why I have not posted anything this week.

1.  Getting ready for school.

2.  I bought the beautiful MacBook Pro!!

I have been playing with this thing for 2 days straight.  Trying to upload all of the fun things I enjoy on computers.

The cool thing is that it has iCloud so it can communicate with my iPad!

Fancy.

Just because it CAN do this, doesn't mean I have figured it out yet.

Silly Technology. 

I have been saving up for months to buy this and I got it right before school!  (next tuesday)

So me and riley had a photo shoot.

Please excuse the fact that I am still wearing my makeup from work last night, and have yet to brush my hair.

NOTD - My First Attempt at Nail Art

I decided that since I have so many Julep polishes that I would try my hand at braided nails.  Now, this is my first ever attempt at trying something freehand like this so it is a tad smushy but I think it turned out pretty darn ok!

Today I wanted to share with you my long overdue haul from Julep.  This month the theme was "Metallics and Chromes", designed to match with this seasons jewelry trends.

I don't know about you ladies, but when I saw the color lineup, I was excited.  I was a little hesitant to order because: 

1. I am broke.  

2. Metallics tend to be a little streaky

But it's Julep!  I couldn't resist! 

How Much Does Your Face Cost?

So I have seen this post by many people floating around recently so I figured I should give it a go.

The concept is, if you see a post like this, you make one for yourself!  Basically let us all know which makeup products you use on a daily basis and how much they cost.

Add it all up and that's how much you face costs!

Keep in mind, I do own drugstore makeup but these are my go-to products.  As you will be able to tell, I love Sephora.
