Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to share this colour with you because I thought it was really cool.
I got it in the Cinco De Mayo mystery box (click HERE to see what else I got) and was excited because I Don't own any blue shades.
Now I know this isn't exactly spring nails but I figured since its been raining here in Vancouver for 2 weeks the dark shade could match the weather lol.
I used Julep Marisa and top coat, and Seche clear base coat (thanks loosebutton)
I gave it your average base coat, 2 coats of polish and a top coat. This particular colour has a lovely consistency and went on amazingly.
Now I didn't think the first picture captured how really neat this colour is so I took one in natural light:
See VERY blue!
I'm happy for now. At least until I get bored in a few days and change it!
Sarah.
how do you find the quality? it seems like all my Juleps chip pretty easily.
ReplyDeleteI find that when you get the polishes that are a little runnier (is that a word?) and you are able to apply 2-3 THIN coats it will last a lot longer. Sometimes you get some with a thicker consistency and I find those chip pretty easily no matter what you do.
DeleteThe pink tips I posted about last week chipped in 2 days. I was miffed.
I really like that color! It is so pretty!!

ReplyDeleteI'm a fellow Canadian as well and found you on the blog hop. I am your latest follower. Love the colour of the nail polish. I do shellac on my nails because I can't keep a regular manicure on longer than a day.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a minute check out my blog. If you like it I would love a follow back.
